Hello, sweetheart and dears~ Any ideas or concerns you have, post it here so that we can discuss it to expand the backbone of this place and make it much more better!

CURRENT IDEAS AND ISSUES
~> The issue of Hostility against those who just want to visit the other grounds and not get attacked.
-----> White Arm-bands to use as a solution?
-----> The ones wearing it can be kept a close eye on by the Families's associates and guards.
-----> Possibly the Heads could give each other a heads up about one of their own entering another grounds? So that there won't be much alarm.

~> A Head Household
-----> Where the Heads can gather and discuss their own issues.
-----> A board can be created for it.

Just to further explain some of those ideas on the white armband/some sign they are there on neutral business: due to the nature of the board, it seems like a lot of essential services are in other gang member territories. In which case, if someone needed to say, go to the Courthouse or wished to go to the casino, they would have to step on other gang member's territory. So, I was wondering, if there was a sign that they were there on just business that wasn't gang related. I automatically thought of Italy's white flag, but waving a flag around at a casino or bar didn't seem entirely practical, so I thought about maybe using a white armband.

Now, some of the issues pointed out, is that this could be abused, for instance, someone saying they were just there to go to the bar and then really being there to assassinate someone. I think a lot of the gangs would be pretty invested in being able to move around territories and use different services though, so I think they might pressure their members to stick to it. Of course, there might be a house with a bad record or something of this, in which case members of that house might be greeted with suspicion even when wearing the armband.

It's certainly a system up for abuse, but that could be quite interesting to play out. Also, it would allow more characters from different houses to interact and show up in each other's territory. So anyway, there was some of the logic behind that thought.

Oh oh! I remember the other thing I wanted to ask. What about a backstory board, or a past memories one, if we ever want to deal with past events between different characters?

Ah, I had a question as well! The positions mentioned that the heir is appointed by the head, so does this mean that the Head lets the admins know who they would prefer or that people interested in that position talk to the Head?

I'm sorry when I created the board if I didn't make things clear. When it comes into going to other peoples territory, I had it in mind that it would be a silent agreement that when they would enter each other's territory they would show respect to the house members and didn't talk bad about them or belittle them, because then they would have to right to tell you not to come back. I can understand about wanting to show that they mean no harm but to me a person with a white armband would show to the public they are mafia member possibly throwing chaos onto the playing field. Sometimes members want to be kept in the shadows about being in a mafia. But ideas are more than welcome, I would like to hear what you come with that would make the forum run smoothly.

Also with wanting to do Past Threads I do not mind making a section to do past interacts. Creating a history is one of the best ways to create a good story.

When it comes to the heirs, Heads decide who they want, other boards normally have one chosen but I wanted to make it fun to the RPers and let Heads chose their own heirs. Just let the Admin know who you want as your heir along with the other Character (RPer).
